What information do we collect and why we collect it?

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Online Forms

Should you complete and submit a form on this site. We will collect all entered data and store it on our secure server. This information will only be used by Dirt Squirrel and not provided to any third party.

We may for your name, telephone number, home address, email address and age for future competitions and sweepstakes, and email address for newsletter sign ups. When a purchase is made on our site, in addition to the above, we also ask for delivery address and payment method details. We may obtain information about your usage of our Website to help us develop and improve it further through online surveys and other requests.

What the data will be used for?

Your data will enable us, and our processors, to fulfill your order, to notify you about important functionality changes, and for statistical or survey purposes to improve this website and our services to you. We may also send you information about products and services and details of promotions and special offers (in the form of electronic newsletters or physical post) from Dirt Squirrel. Our Online Store

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

-Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

-Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

Payments

We accept payments through PayPal and stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to these companies, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Privacy of Children on Our Website

Our Website is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we will not knowingly collect any information from any person below the age of 13.
